The Demons of Latin America:
The first story that struck my attention was "La Llorana". As you can see from the photo it appears to be a horror story, which is a genre that I truly love. The women that you see in the photo is in love with a man that she bore children with; however, her husband leaves her and she kills the children and then herself, but in her mind, she didn't die. She becomes a ghost and takes away other's children into the river and drowns them. I found this to be a very cool ghost story because it showed the background and thoughts of the ghost itself. The second story was related to a disobedient boy who also killed children. His name was "El Cucay" and could be summoned by calling his name. I really enjoyed getting the backdrop on the monsters described in these stories and seeing how they became what they are.

A Punishment of Tengu
This story was much different than a traditional story - it is interactive. This allows for the reader to make choices that directly affect the storyline and conclusion. During the story, I was battling a goblin demon that took a child from my village. I climbed a treacherous mountain and befriended a wolf to help on my journey. Eventually, I rescued and save the child, resulting in my faith defeating the demon. I really enjoyed this story mainly for the clever multifaceted story that took place. I even chose a different path and redid the story. This made it seem like a whole new journey. This was truly fascinating and a great experience.

Dante's Portals
This story was a little bit harder to follow for me, but nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Dante, the protagonist, ventures to Egypt and talks to an alligator headed god about their history. He views pyramids and hears a story from the god. Then Dante meets another entity and swordfights it while being told two stories. Truthfully, I felt this storybook was all over the place and hard to follow. Not my cup of tea compared to the others, but I still found it interesting and cool regardless.
