Reading Notes

• AYÛB was originally a very rich man
• Allah took his worldly possessions away, including his health 
• Allah gave him a skin disease 
• For seven years his wife took care of him - she was daughter of Ephriam and daughter of Joseph
• Allah sent Gabriel and healed AYUB and made his children alive again and his wife young and beautiful
• Allah also gave Gabriel back all of his earthly belongings and more 

1. Other: Gabriel is an angel sent from Allah 
2. The main theme of the story is faith
3. I think it could be retold with a different plot and maybe different characters
4. I could also rewrite with the theme of falling in and out of faith.
