Reading Notes: The Curse of Drunkenness
Context: Once again we have Noah on another adventure with good and evil. Noah had lost his religion and began to spend his time growing a wine. Unfortunately, this ended up in him introducing the first to get drunk, which as I know from the other story, caused him to curse others, and also resulted in slavery becoming a thing.

Story: Noah grew a vine, it grew fruit, and he got drunk all in one day. Unfortunately, his culprit was Satan (the evil in the story). Now the real story starts whenever Noah was approached by Satan. Satan helped Noah grow the plant, permitting another sin -drunkenness- into the world. Satan slaughtered a lamb, lion, pig, and monkey; however, these all have meanings to it so refer back to the story to incorporate these (pretty good metaphor in my opinion).
  • Note the parallelism with Adam and Eve as it mentions
  • The story retells the previous story I took reading notes over very briefly, but with more description. See here
The children of ham were all taken captive after Noah cursed Canaan. Shem and Japeth were not cursed on the other hand. They were praised by Noah and given blessings for their children. The story goes into more context of exactly what those are.
