Good Source about Akhund- a Islamic cleric - Source

Reading Notes:

This is a story regarding fate in Islamic faith, but it also relates to astrology, see here

It starts off with a man who has the fortune of having a son. When he goes to the Islamic cleric, the cleric claims that his son will be torn to pieces by a wolf. The boy grew older and married his father's brother's daughter. The wedding celebration lasted two weeks and then when they were wed, they were left in a room alone. As soon as they were left, the groom grabbed his now wife by the waist and she immediately turned into a wolf and tore him to pieces. When the daylight came, so did a women asking what happened to the groom. The bride said all she knew was she turned into a wolf and tore him to pieces. The women cried and freaked out, but took the boy to be buried. The men essentially stated that whatever the fate of will is, will happen.

I chose this story because I didn't like it due to its shortness. I feel that if there was more dialogue and names for the characters it could be a much better story.

  • Add more context
  • Be more descriptive
  • Give characters names
  • Keep main plot
  • Add more elements
