Famous Last Words: A Great Week!

This week has been one that I most certainly need to reciprocate. I didn't procrastinate and stuck to the schedule that I made in my planner. Something that I believed really helped was making a checklist and checking all the boxes after I finished the things I needed to get done. For some reason this gave me a certain feeling of accomplishment as if it were small victory after another. I also felt that since I spent more time on my work, it was significantly better than it is when I am just attempting to do it last minute. Balancing my workload is not easy at all, as I have my 18 hours but also my LSAT studying to do. I spent everyday this week doing about two hours of LSAT study prep. This is something that I have struggled with because it isn't required; however, I need to be sure that I get it done if I really want to go to a great law school. I feel like waking up at 7 every morning has allowed me to get so much more done than I have previously. I think there is something about being up before everyone else and eating a good breakfast that just makes having a productive day so much easier. I also have had two exams this week, which both required a large amount of time to prepare for. Luckily, I think that my hard work will pay off especially when I get the tests back. I also had a quiz earlier this morning that I think I aced. Overall, I think that if I can reciprocate this discipline that I have had this week as far as waking up early goes, I will be set to pull off my 4.0 and also get my LSAT prep to a place where I feel confident. I have also cut out playing video games until after the end of my "work day". I tried this week treating school and LSAT as an 8-5 job, but typically I end up working later than that. Fortunately, I think this week I showed myself that I really can do it if I set my mind to it and work extra hard.
