• Rabbit challenges otter in eating ducks
• Otter catches one easily without others noticing 
• Rabbit gets taken up into the air after trying to catch one with a noose
• Rabbit gets stuck in tree sap and has to eat its own fur
• He sang a song to get kids attention to free him
• Kids got their father and he changed the song telling them to get back
• Rabbit gets out and runs away

Moral of the story: Don't boast

Could be spun a couple different ways 

Maybe use something with tree sap in modern day
