Reading Notes:
  • Nyankupon is a god, see more info here
- People during this time told stories about Nyankupon, but the spider wanted stories told about him
-The spider is name Anansi
- Spider wanted stories told about him and Nyankupon agreed after Anansi completed 3 tasks
- Anansi tricked bees into going into a jar
- Anansi tricked a boa with a stick
- Anansi tricked a tiger into letting him sew his eyes shut
- Nyankupon was impressed and allowed old tales to be called Anansi Tales

  1. Try putting a different ending on it (story too short)
  2. Maybe have the ending have the spider get tricked
  3. Do something to make the spiders conceitedness be his downfall
  4. Make it contemporary
  5. Try to do a rhyme scheme and see if it will work with this one
  6. Maybe use a fox that tricks the spider like other folklore
