Reading Notes:
- Beowulf and Grendle are fighting in the hall of Heorot
- They were fighting among others but neither could gain an advantage
- They fell making the earth shake
- Grendle began to run away but Beowulf went for the throat
- Beowulf rips off Grendles arm as stench oozed out of Grendle
- Grendle flees the scene
- The people hoisted up Grendles arm
- All the people came to see what Beowulf had done
Notice again how descriptive the wording is
Additionally, note the adjectives that are being used - might be good to use this wordplay when retelling the story
