I had heard the TedxTalk about growth mindset awhile back, as I watch them on Youtube almost daily. I found your blog about the application of growing the growth mindset, in a sense, and found it applicable in my school and also in my cooking (as I am not very good yet). I think it is fascinating to think about the topic. In my opinion, you almost have to have a growth mindset in order to achieve a growth mindset. I also think it is really important to remember, especially in kids, that they need rewards and incentives. In my opinion, they should be able to feel satisfied otherwise they will become dismayed. Especially in younger children! I know some people may disagree with this as I read some of the other blogs, but I would love to get some discussion going to see what everyone else's perspectives are or any counter arguments they have in relation to adolescent teaching and the growth mindset. I think it is a spectrum, and can't simply be a one size fits all solution.
